The JTHS STEM Academy students will participate in unique and authentic learning experiences including, but not limited to, CAD Honors, Robotic Engineering, Pre-Calculus Honors, Chemistry Honors, Engineering 1 & 2 Honors, AP Physics, and AP Computer Science A. These courses include Sports and Entertainment Honors, AP Economics, Advertising and Promotion Honors, Entrepreneurship Honors, Business Law Honors, International Business Honors, and Marketing 2 Honors. Additionally, students will not only enroll in honors-level courses but beginning Junior year, they will be eligible to take the following courses and receive up to 21 credits from Fairleigh Dickinson University. The JTHS Business and Finance Academy students will participate in unique and authentic learning experiences including, but not limited to, Stock Market Challenge, Profession Shadowing, Student-run Credit Union, School Store, Volunteering, Industry Work, Euro Challenge, Career Day, QuickBooks Certification, Public Speaking and participating in DECA. Students who attend the JTHS Academies will engage in an honors-level theme-based curriculum, and move through the program in a cohort with their grade level.
